Tayside Orthopaedic Research Collaborative

A trainee-led collaborative research organisation

Created to support those undertaking research in Tayside, and to promote collaborative working within and outside the deanery. TORC provided funding for departmental research, as well as hosting the annual Tayside Orthopaedic Research Collaborative Conference (TORCC).

Tayside Orthopaedic Research Collaborative Conference 2024

14th Annual Scientific Meeeting

Daytime Conference

Held once each year, the event allows all trainees as well as foundation doctors, medical students, and other colleagues who have carried out research in the department to present their research. The day is also host to guest speakers from various institutions. It is an event that we like to promote, and anyone, from any rotation is welcome to attend, submit work for review, and most importantly, meet and learn from all those who are attending.

We have a number of exciting speakers lined-up as well as presentations and stands from various industry partners.

We will also benefit from hearing talks from some of our newly-appointed consultants on their recent fellowship experiences.
