Undergraduate Involvement in Tayside Orthopaedics

What We Can Do For You

How Can We Help?

I want to get involved in a project, how can I do this?

If you would like to get involved in QI projects or research work, we would be happy to help. If you have a project idea, then please use this form to allow us to best support you with your work. If you don’t have a project idea, but are keen to get involved, please fill out the form at the bottom of the page and we will try to get back to you as soon as possible. Please also feel free to attend the department and speak to us in person.

How can I find out about teaching sessions?

The department runs various teaching sessions, and helps to support the university and the affiliated surgical societies’ teaching programmes. For our own teaching sessions, please follow this website’s updates, and most importantly, follow our Twitter page.

How can I ask about support for events such as conferences?

Please use the form at the bottom of the page to get in contact with us regarding support for society events. We are always more than happy to try and support these events to the best of our ability.

How else can I get involved?

Our first recommendation is to attend the annual Tayside Orthopaedic Research Collaborative Conference, which is usually held in November. Keep up to date with developments, and submit your research to the conference for consideration of presentation in our Medical Student section. This event also gives you an excellent chance to meet with and understand the work that is being done in the local department, as well as hearing from some exciting guest speakers.

We look forward to hearing from you, and helping where we can.
