Mr Robinson has been a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon since 2011. He has a specialist interest in upper limb trauma and elective operations, including arthroplasty and soft-tissue operations. He also offers general orthopaedic trauma care.

He qualified from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands in 2001, after which he successfully completed his Orthopaedic Specialist training in Tayside. He underwent subspecialty training in shoulder and elbow surgery at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary in 2010.

Mr Robinson is also involved in other activities such as taking co-responsibility for the University of Dundee Medical School musculoskeletal teaching and he plays an active role within post-graduate orthopaedic surgical training and teaching.
