Mr Clift has been a consultant in NHS Tayside since 1993. He has a special interest in lower limb arthroplasty, particularly revision and complex primary arthroplasty. He is one of a small number of consultants in the UK that can offer coccyx injection where required.

Mr Clift also provides general orthopaedic trauma care, and sits on a number of advisory boards.
