Mr Alipour has been a consultant in Tayside since 2004. He specialises in hip and knee arthroplasty alongside general orthopaedic trauma.

Qualifying with an MBChB from Dundee University in 1991 and completing his orthopaedic training in Tayside and Inverness. Obtaining FRCS Ed (T&O) in 2001, which was followed by an international fellowship in lower limb arthroplasty and reconstructive orthopaedics at the Alfred Hospital, Melbourne, Australia.
