Sam graduated from the University of Dundee in 2015 prior to completing Foundation Training. He subsequently completed Core Surgical Training in the East of Scotland. Following this, he undertook a year of specialty orthopaedic training in Northern England, prior to returning to Tayside to complete his orthopaedic surgical training.
