Elizabeth Dominguez

Specialty Trainee - Year 3

Born in the Philippines, Miss Dominguez moved to the UK to complete her undergraduate medical training at the University of Bristol where she also completed a Masters in Health Sciences Research, focusing on retrospective cohort studies and working with registry data.

Miss Dominguez completed a T&O-themed Core Surgical Training in Severn Deanery, and has since embarked on higher speciality training in Scotland.

Miss Dominguez has a keen interest in education, leadership and management. She was the first Medical Student Representative at the British Orthopaedic Trainees’ Association (BOTA) in 2017, motivated by the drive to bridge the gap between student and surgeon. As the current Scotland Representative for BOTA, she continues to engage in issues related to training, with a special focus on the continued development of the Scottish Trauma & Orthopaedic Trainees Symposium (STOTS).

Miss Dominguez is currently the Publicity Convenor for TORC 2025.
